You Need An External Force

Newton's first law of motion (non-science students pardon me) says, 'A body will continue in its present state of rest or, if it is in motion, will continue to move with uniform speed in a straight line unless it is acted upon by an external force'.

A wheelbarrow will be where it is for the next decade  or more, expect you push it away from where it is. The applied push is an external force which causes a change in the position of the wheelbarrow.
You will continue in you state of stagnancy unless an external force move you away from your comfort zone. External force is that thing that triggers you up to move away from you comfort.

Let's take this scenario into consideration, when a man is riding on a horse back. The horse will  continue to run with a uniform or in a steady speed but when the man on the horse wants it to run faster, the man will wipe it with a stripe and the horse will start to run fast. The stripe is an external force that alter the uniform speed of the horse by making it to run faster.
You need a stripe to alter your slow progress by thinking of a better advancement.

Your comfort zone is your greatest enemy. You need an eternal force to move you out of your comfort zone.
You need to discover that external force that will triggers you up.
